السلام عليكم ورحمة الله
The Mankato Islamic Center is an essential institution for Muslims across South Central Minnesota — a place to pray, learn, gather, and grow together.
Southern Minnesota is becoming an increasingly diverse region, and Muslims from all corners of the globe are among the fastest-growing parts of the Greater Mankato community — students and faculty, medical and nursing staff, non-profit workers, and neighbors in every walk of life.
As that community grows, so does the need to meet its spiritual needs. The Mankato Islamic Center serves as a hub for area Muslims to meet, pray, receive guidance, and discuss community affairs. It is an essential institution for all of us in South Central Minnesota to practice and preserve our faith and values.
We are currently raising funds to renovate the entire building so it can better serve both the Muslim and non-Muslim communities in the area.
